This heart was created in the 1960’s by Alexander Girard, donor of his fine collection of folk art. He was Design Director of the Textile Division of Herman Miller, Inc. and his fabrics are notable for their expansive use of color and pattern. I found it at the Museum of International Folk Art in Santa Fe.
