Great Room and Terminal Bar

The Crawford Hotel at Union Station.

“Terminal Room was the name of a bar that was at Union Station during the railroad’s hay days – the name is a perfect shout-out to the building’s storied past.  The space is fairly skinny but runs the length of the train hall. It should make for a very cool bar and fit right in down in LoDo.”

The new Crawford Hotel Great Room

From the 3rd floor of the renovated Denver Union Station is this great perspective of the transformation to the new Crawford Hotel and beyond to the new open-air train hall by the award winning architects of Skimore, Owings & Merrill LLC.   The preservation and renovation has revealed the beauty of original wall lighting and now bright ornamentation and arches.
