Fish Out of Water in the Month of Photography

Have you ever felt like a fish out of water?

This is “Yipes!” from my “Sometimes I Feel Like A Fish Out of Water” Series.  It is a featured photograph at the Buell Theatre in the Denver Center for the Arts, downtown Denver for the Month of Photography Denver 2015.

It’s part of a split exhibition called, “It’s Personal” the ASMP Colorado portion of the overall exhibition, “From Dead Serious to Great Fun” which is running from January 22-March 29, 2015.

This archival pigment Artist’s Proof print in this exhibition is printed by Infinite Editions and framed by famed wood artist, Randolph Laub, to 28″x37″.

My Objet’s d’art are black & white checkerboard cubes or fish props that are tossed into a landscape by an assistant and captured in a single exposure in camera.   No photoshop was used to create a composite.  This series is has been a conceptual series of mine for 20 years and is ONGOING.  I’m recently rworking with PhotoEye in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
