What did Dana Crawford do in 1965?

She “formed Larimer Associates, to change the face of the 1400 block of Larimer Street by refurbishing the buildings, creating courtyards and leasing to office and retail tenants.”  “Larimer Square was born.”  Denver Urban Renewal Authority save the 1400 block from demolition.

Dana is the beautiful, smiling woman with Union Station in background on my home page opening portfolio.

Gallup Stanbury Building on Larimer Square

The building has been the location of The Market since opening in 1978.
